| Have any of you gone with their "All Talk" program?
I've just signed up and am awaiting my equipment.
$24.95, I can "port" my current phone # so that doesn't have to change. For
$3.99 a month I can offer 800 service to my clients.
It gives me voice mail, call waiting, 3-way calling, caller ID, Return call,
Repeat call, and call forwarding.....
I'm so sick of Verizon and the umpteen billion charges I'm paying to only
have a voice line. I'm hoping this works out.
I'd love to know if anyone else is using it.

| I don't know anything about it, but for the $3.99 a month for the 800
service, do you still have to pay X cents/minute for the time they
spend dialed in to your number?

| I believe they do, but it's cheap so that's okay. I just want the 800#
cause it looks more impressive when you offer it! LOL!!
Remember the clients I'm cultivating now aren't transcription clients, so
I'm not looking to use it for dictation or anything like that.

| Bambi:
I have the All Talk setup from USA Datanet. I've been using their 99
cent call program for years, and jumped when I saw their VoIP phone
offering. I've had it since December.
The phone service works well, as long as you have a fairly stable
internet connection. I use Comcast and very rarely lose my internet
connection. The only problem I've had so far is an echo in the
background...which happens with most phone calls. It sounds like a
cell phone connection.
The service and support are very good. The webpage is slow to update
though.
There are many features that I like, including call hunting, call
forwarding, 3-way calling, call waiting, etc.....it has all the bells
and whistles without the extra-added expense.
I also like the virtual number feature, which lets me choose an extra
number anywhere in the US, and people in that area can call as though
its a local call. You can also bring your ATA with you when you travel
and make phone calls with it at no charge.
If you don't need any special setups (such as a VPN connection), its
great to have. If you have a VPN connection (like I do), make sure you
have lots of patience.
Hope this helps...

| Thanks, Patti!! I don't make that many phone calls and Verizon charges are
killing me. I'm waiting for my equipment so I can get started hopefully
next week.
Thanks for the info! It helps knowing someone is using the service and likes
it!
