Dani,

It was already downloaded to my PC, so no ISP involvement. My CPU is an
AMD XP3100+, so it has enough horsepower. My newsreader is older. It's
the last version of MicroPlanet's Gravity, which has been known to have
problems with large databases, but the usual symptom is it complaining
of a corrupted newsgroup file.
