Ever hear of something that s/l "mig X 3" (that's pronouned mig ecks
three)?

Following the maximum reduction of gross tumor through the curettage
and cryosurgery, the patient would then have s/l "mig ecks 3" calcium
sulfate fill to provide immediate compressive strength.

It almost sounds like 1 word - migexthree or even migextry.

The patient had a tumor in his hip bones. They excised, but are going
back to get what they missed.

Thanks!

First thing that jumped to my mind was Megace, and it is used for cancers,
but along with the 3 and the calcium sulfate I can't find any references.

P.S.

Using Google, I entered in quotes "x3" along with the words calcium and
sulfate to find this as the first hit.

Glad I could help! I work an ortho account, so might run into this myself
and bookmarked the site for future reference.
