Firefox - Strangeness

| I went to open my browser as per usual, and instead of opening, it
gave me a box from which to choose my profile (I think that was the
word it used). There was only one choice -- default. When I selected
it and told Firefox to open, it told me that "Default" was in use and
I had to choose another profile. Well, I created another one (it
named itself "default user"), and now all my bookmarks and tool bar
customizations are gone! (The original "default" user was still
showing in the box after I created the new one.) I can't seem to
find a Tools option for creating a user profile, nor can I figure out
how to find my old one! I had just added a few new bookmarks, and I
really, really don't want to have to go back and re-create them all.
Any thoughts? I'm gonna run spyware and virus again right now,
awaiting your usually helpful responses.

| You just have to do a three-finger salute and delete the firefox.exe
that is running in the background. Happens to me all the time.

| I'd probably be giving it a one-finger salute <VBG>

| LOL! usually when that happens, it means that Firefox has croaked on
something that was HTMLified for MSIE only, or something similar.
