I use limited expansions, not a lot of them, and only use Word not one of
the fancier programs. I always transcribed at conversational speed so
adapting to an expander was difficult for me. The limited expansions I do
use are ones I've used for some time and I think like that now. Trying to
learn new ones, I always have to stop, think out the expansion code, type
it, and move on. Hell in the time it takes to do that, I could have typed
the damn words!! LOL!

So I can understand someone not using it, especially if they are a very fast
typist to begin with, although I realize it's like saying, no thanks I don't
need electricity, I still know how to build a fire.
