| Well I was when YD came home from school crying because she found out her
"best friend" had slept with the boy she likes.

Dang. I don't know you OR your daughter, but that really bummed me out,
too.

I do agree that seasonal disorder occurs having known someone who was so
severely affect by it that they would literally close all curatins windows
etc, and almost hybernate for the winter months. The effects of actually
managing to get them out of the house were quite extreme and very
noticeable!

I didn't read the article so I don't know if it was mentioned - there are
light bulbs one could buy that mimic sunlight that help this depression out a
lot. For sure they are available at Lowe's - probably other places as well, and
on line.

| I definitely used to get depressed in the winter when I lived up North.
Today I was out with the dog for about an hour in the sun, and took a brief
swim in the afternoon. Sure couldn't do that up there this time of year.
