Julie,
Are you talking about the Philips 9350? I'm very happy with it,
especially the sound quality (superior to the Olympus), but be sure to
lock down the settings so that your dictators don't inadvertently
switch from Overwrite to Insert mode. It'll drive you crazy, and it's
very easy to do. It's a design flaw, IMO -- the button is just too
easy to push accidentally. But the software that comes with the
machine allows you to lock various settings (date, time, recording
speed, Insert/Overwrite) so that they can only be changed at the
computer, not at the machine itself.
