Last year I took on the "responsibility" of Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.
Just my family and a few friends for Thanksgiving but my family and Joel's
family and some friends for Christmas dinner. I LOVED IT! It was a bit tiring
but I absolutely loved having a house full of people - we ended up with guests
for the full week after Christmas and it was nice to "visit" as much as we did.
I think I realized the true blessing of having that many people in your home.
Sometimes it is hectic having that many but it sure is wonderful to get to
spend the time and visit with them that you normally wouldn't be able to do if
you were running home and they were staying somewhere else.
