olds would. - let it go. If you do not I will ask Keith Walsh to start
sending you e-mails. I may even pay airfare to visit and/or move in with
you.

If not, I can play too. I haven't put my pads on in usenet lately, and
certainly not with the current addy - but you two are abusers. Why does

I have let it go several times. I do not wish for this to continue. I have
tried ignoring her to no avail My wife and I have offered peace to her
several times, only to have it thrown right back in our face.

Do you propose that I be endlessly defamed and my family stalked without my
responding? Even when I do not respond she continues the harassment and
stalking.

What do you suggest to end this?

Well...the method you are currently employing doesn't seem to be working.
Perhaps just ignoring the issue would be better. I have no idea what the
history of this matter is, or who is right and who is wrong, but in the few
posts I have read, I note that I found it pretty classless that your
children were brought into the dispute and used as weapons because you made
the "error" of mentioning them once or twice in the past. Most people are
pretty smart and will figure out who is credible and who is not. Those that
are inclined to believe bullshit will believe it no matter how much you or
anyone else protests. So my suggestion? Let it go.

How can my opinion be a lie? You seem to think the world has studied your
petty squabbles and actually gives a crap about all this. I have no idea
what started this crap or why BOTH of you feel justified in airing it out
here, but I don't know or care about anyone's propaganda techniques. I think
that whatever the argument you may have, leave the person's kids out of it.
If your "enemy" made the error of bringing them up, how about rising above
it and leaving it out of your fight? Are you that full of hate you can't

How can I make this clear enough for you to understand...I don't care about
your fights, and therefore do not know how many times he wrote about his
wife and children. If it was many, many times, then that was pretty stupid,
but it still doesn't explain away your behavior.

I see this as a small example of how you interact with others and must say,
in the a-hole contest you two seem to be running, this puts you in the lead.

The problem is that I have tried all other approaches with her. I did not
respond to her for nearly two years, and she persisted. During that period
she thought that evey new poster from AOL (my former ISP) who took her to
task was me. Her henchman, Jan Drew, supported her, as she is supporting her

At this point, I feel that I am left with two choices, leaving usenet or
living with the harassment and stalking of my family.

Neither are satisfactory.

Maybe ignoring her doesn't work either but at least it takes
a lot less effort and doesn't bother anyone else. Besides,
we all know that if you ignored her for long enough she
would eventually get bored with it - they always do.
Besides, besides - when exactly what this prolonged period

I suggest you killfile the odious Ilena. So what if she continues the
"harassment" whether you respond or not? I know from following
threads in Google that Jan the Loon continues to respond to my
postings even though she's in my killfile. So what? I don't care if
one of our resident crazy ladies responds to my postings.

Wow...ok...I still can't quite make sense of this fight - but - did you
know that if you google Jan Drew there are 167, 000 posts with her name
in it!!!!!! Wow. In thinking about Jan's information she so forcefully
supplies everyone with I remembered something from my school days. My
professor for pathology class once told us that "At some point in our
class, we would all become convinced that we had all the symptoms of
several diseases, especially the rare ones. There is a difference
between understanding the meaning or concept of a word or symptoms and
understanding it's context and application." How true it was and is. I
suppose everyone could just ignore the fighting and the mercury
posioning posts, but, they seem to have taken over the board completely
and not even in a civilized manner. In fact, you have to wade through
pages of it to even find a legit dental question. I find it interesting
that all of the posts are simply re-posts of someone else's work?! If
all these people have such a knowledge and understanding of the subject
matter - shouldn't they be able to supply us with original data and
opinions? Maybe it doesn't apply on the internet, but in real life
repeatedly attacking people with unwanted advice and info., slandering
their name, coming around after being told to leave someone
alone....that spells harrassment and a restraining order.
