True enough. Frankly, my father has lived in acceptable health with good
mobilty all of these 87 years. If he had abruptly left us this week, we would
still be thankful for his lifespan that has significantly beaten the averages.
We are all born with a terminal condition (we are alive), sooner or later an
end looms for all of us. This seems to bother us, but nothing could be more
natural. There is damn little longevity in my genetic inheritance, but my
father is giving me a bit of hope that I might possibly have two or three good
decades remaining.
Thanks
