Anyone smoked pure THC???

Actually, I'd make either icewater hash or do a butane
extraction. What you are proposing with the alcohol is what we call a
"Green Dragon" and although it does concentrate the THC somewhat it
tastes horrible in my opinion. Icewater hash is quick and easy to make
and makes an ounce of good herb into a gram+ or so (depends entirely
upon how many trichomes are in the ounce) of nice hash. Butane
extraction yields hash oil (sometimes called honey oil) which is about
the highest concentration of THC you can manage without some fancy lab
equipment. Either method will produce better results than using the
alcohol, which also dissolves a fair bit of chlorophyl and other stuff
that you really don't want (hence the nasty taste). Do a google search
on "supercritical extraction hash oil" or take a peek at www.erowid.com
for more info.
If you decide to do the butane method, it works well but you
MUST do it outdoors away from sparks of open flames. Butane extraction
requires one to be sober and aware of one's surroundings during the
procedure to avoid a potentially fatal side effect known as an
explosion. :-)

I looked into it, but I am a little reluctant to use butane. I live in an
apartment,
and can't really get outdoors anywhere that isn't crowded w/ people.
I did a serch for icewater hash but nothing came up.
Happen to know where I can get a procedure for making hash?

Okay thx a lot, i looked into it, and for my means i picked the "blender"
method as the one i will work with.
If you know this method maybe you can answer a question for me.
This is from the site:
"Fill the blender about half-way with skuff, then cover with cold water and add
a tray of ice cubes. Blend for 45 seconds to a minute – the mixture will become
green and frothy, like a smoothie. Pour this mix through the metal coffee
filter into your glass jar. Run more water through the filter to make sure you
haven't missed any trichomes."
About the part where it syas "Pour this mix through the metal coffee filter
into your glass jar."
Why is this step necessary?
Won't the mettal coffee filter possibly catch some of the trichomes?
What would happen if i didn't strain it first, then just poured it into the
glass jar wait for separation and get the trichomes?
Sorry for the bulk of questions, I want to get this right.

of just leaf and trim dried and ground it up after freezing it. Now,
with budz you'll get far more hash than I did, but this was trim. I
took this and added a fair bit of ice and added some water and whipped
that up into a big green slurpee. I let the stuff settle to the bottom,
moved the leftovers into another pail, added some water and whipped it
up again and added what settled out of that to the first pail. It got
poured into a set of filters at 3 differing sizes. The >73 micron
produced the best hash but the 104 micron produced the most hash. It
took me 3 weeks to smoke 2 grams of this >73 micron hash! Wicked XXX
ice hash, no matter how much you smoked you never topped out, you just
kept getting higher! Next time I am fortunate enough to have some hash
of this quality (which I really hope is soon!) I am going to eat a gram
of it sprinkled on a hot buttered waffle with maple syrup. About the
time that the coffee and sugar buzz sets in...Toto, we ain't in Kansas
anymore!
