Really? Well, I am definitely *not* an expert in this field so I'll
have to make do with "Google science":
Erowid is happy to reproduce data which says they do:
http://www.erowid.org/plants/cannab...bis_info3.shtml
and from another pro-pot site:
http://www.marijuana.com/pipestudy.php3
"Like tobacco, marijuana tars are rich in carcinogenic compounds known
as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which are a prime culprit in
smoking-related cancers. However, cannabinoids themselves are not
carcinogenic."
Also, the British Lung Foundation appears to be in on the conspiracy
to suppress the facts about the respiratory benefits of cannabis smoke
too. From new Scientist:
http://www.newscientist.com/channel...an-tobacco.html
"Individually, cannabis and tobacco produce the same constituents and
quantities of chemicals known to be toxic to respiratory tissue, other
than nicotine, the [BLF] report says".
And presenting the contrary data we have.... you.

Then you are rejecting completely the theory that tobacco causes lung
cancer *because* of the carcinogens that usually get the blame.
Fine.
