my friend is saying that a typical plant only yeilds 2oz. when asked if he
mean indoor/outdoor, hydro/dirt, ect he said indoor hydro. i know indoor is
less than outdoor, but i woulda thought more than 2oz. i know some types
grow more than others, but i guess im asking for an average. maybe from
seed from regs when ya break it up.

THe stapeler is mine! I stole it fair and square.

Average 2 oz... acceptable, there are that do more and there are that
do less, it also depends on how long you verg it.
\Some people do no veg time and get small plants, lots of em that get
about 10 grams each. lots of ways to do it.

Basically, indoors, they judge effectiveness of light nd space
according to grams per watt.
..8 is good. 1 g/W is excellent.

for some reason, i kept thinking that there would be more than 2oz on a well
grown plant. ah well, i wouldnt be growin for a long time anyways, at least
not until i get a different place to live.

what if you use a really powerful bulb, like 100+watts? of would that burn
the plant?

Hey milt,
If you use a 100 W bulb you would be wasting your time.
We have about 10-25 plants under 600W in one square meter.
once again though, you can also have 4 plnats under hte same set up and
space and still come back with the same grams per Watt.
THeoretically, we are still doing th eresearch on that urbane legend.

Tokie Tokie!

I had 10 Outdoor Manitoba Poison last year, from seed in May till
harvest late Sept, 6 turned out female, averaged 5-8 feet, out of the
six, after the trimming sweating and drying, got 2 pounds 10oz. Very
happy. Very Potent!! Grown north of the 49th paralell. YUMYUM

I think I still have the pictures archived in my documents somewhere.
I'll take a peek for them, and send 'em to you if/when I find them. I
was really surprised, though. Early sept, they looked as though they
were only going to bud sort of patchy like over the plants, then, boom,
within' two and a half weeks I had to start tying the branches up to
the plant because the weight of the buds were actually breaking some
branches off!! Also, being as far north as I am, we had two mild
frosts before I harvested, and I wasn't sure If the THC , CNB, etc had
been affected. But, Manitoba poison was bred for cold climate growth,
which is good!
Icouldn'd believe the first christening of the trimmed dried budd. I'm
not exactly a lightweight, but it sent me for a wild loop, eyes
completely bloodshot, mostly closed, it almost felt like the first time
i'd been high!! Everyone in contact with this were shocked when they
realized I'd grown it from seed outdoors, It blew away just about any
hydro I've tried. If you live on the 40th and above, I'd suggest
trying Manitoba Poison outdoors, you only have to check it about twice
a month, and like I said before, it was bred for harsh conditions. I
got the seeds through marc emery and his conglomerate of seed banks he
had contacts with. Should still be easy to find even though marc is
currently being fuct by the DEA and other American authorities. Hey, I
love american people, just think you're governments a bit-well-1935
German like...Any way, I did snap some digi's of the plants the day I
harvested, when we were trimming, close ups of the final buds, and the
large bags full after the whole dry-sweat process, just not sure where
they are in my comp. I'll do a surch through all my documents, and
I'll show you these lovely beasts!!!
Cheers
