I remember, back in High School, a friend and I were just WASTED. Of course,
we had the munchies so we stopped by McD's. It was around dinner time and,
among the many people standing line, were a couple of cops. My friend was
suffering from a little pot paranoia so he was like "Hey man. We gotta be
cool, man. Act straight, man."
So we get up to the counter and see my friend struggling to very carefully
give the McGirl his order and then precisely count out the right amount of
money. He waited very calmly until our orders came. I grabbed mine and we
turned to leave. We were about half way to the door when the McGirl yelled
loud enough to be heard over all the people in line "Sir! Your food!". My
friend had left his food on the counter. Shwoop! Every eye in the place was
immediately on him- including the four belonging to the cops.
I discretely slipped out the door as my mortified friend had to walk
nonchalantly back to the counter to get his food with everyone looking at
him and then back through the gauntlet again to get to the door. They had to
be thinking "What an idiot. He must be stoned." By the time he got in the
car, I thought he was going to need CPR. "Oh man, I XXXXed up, man. Are
those cops still looking at me? Are they coming over here?" I was laughing
my XXX off.
We used to go to that McD's all the time, it was the after school hang out.
But after that incident, I don't recall ever going there again
