oh crap.. first hurricane track takes what is expected to become a hurricane
3 right over my house!!! It is suppose to hit the NEST by this weekend.
It will experience 'some' shearing effect.. then.. pick up speed.. and
strengthen. Today is Tuesday.. by this time next week I will be expecting
my government check for 5000 bucs for my inconveinience.

You've got a pandemic of hurricanes and we've got a pandemic of avian flu.

You don't get a FEMA check just for being inconvenienced. If you have to
relocate, they will pay your relocation expenses. If you purchase a
generator, they will reimburse you the cost of the generator (you have to
purchase the generator right before, or right after the storm. They won't
reimburse the generator you bought six months ago) If you have damages that
insurance won't cover, they will reimburse your for *some* of the damages,
but not near enough to cover it all. They will reimburse you for a chainsaw
(same rules apply about purchase time.) The most that anyone will get
(unless they have *major* uncovered damages) is $2,000. I had a friend
whose home was destroyed by flooding that her homeowner's did not cover.
FEMA gave her $6,000; which won't come close to rebuilding her home. I got
$728.49; the exact purchase price of the generator that I purchased the day
before hurricane Katrina. You can apply for FEMA online, give direct
deposit info; and the money will be in your account within five days, but a
FEMA inspector *WILL* arrive at your home within two weeks to verify
everything on your app. If you apply for generator reimbursement, you will
need your receipt, and they will want to take a picture of your generator.

Good luck, if you need any advice on hurricane prep; I've been through two
major storms and 3 minor storms, in the past two years. I'm an old pro now.

Avian flu? Let me know when it is transmissable from person to person and
then I might worry. Right now the only way you can get it is from contact
with an infected chicken.

Yo Buzz,
Don't play around with this XXXXX.
I got lucky with Katrina as far as my house was concerned
but I wasn't about to ride it out.
If you're going to get hit, get the hell out.

For real...so far it seems he might be just getting the outer edge of the
storm, maybe some wind damage, hopefully not much more.
Well I h0pe thats all at least...I did tell Him and Vinny to get out and
take a roadtrip up this way, what a better excuse to get together and party,
they can bring their families and roomates and kids and I will find a close
hotel ..lol.
I will cook some CountryStuff recipes for them.
