Any white stoner caught dealing acid can get the same sentence. Easily.

Nothing in this country is as it is supposed to be.

Why not? I tend to think he can afford decent lawyers who can get him off
of any bogus charges.

Go figure.

I'm sure you have some cites for this?

I tend to not waste my time worrying about what will happen to multi-
millionaires involved with major crime figures. I would execute him
summarily for releasing Ja Rule records in the first place. And not
shaving Ashanti sooner.
Of slightly more concern to me is all of the people allowed to profit
heavily from the same drug trade they use against others, operating with
impunity. Bush crime family, etc.
I think Mr. Gotti knew the rules of the game before he started playing.
Greedy XXXX. A major record label isn't enough of an income for him?
Wannabe gangsta. Amateur.
The guidelines for sentencing changed in 92/93, I think.

Generally speaking, money laundering, like tax evasion, is used to put
people away for other, related crimes. Gotti is linked to 3 murders? Plus
"drug money-laundering, racketeering and weapons wrongdoing".
20 years (the max sentence discussed, so far) sounds like he got off
light.
