I was taking a low dose of fish body oil derived Omega 3s and
went off because I considered it an un-neccessary expense. I
began to have problems with my legs and went back on it last week
and my legs are beginning to improve. Used up lots of cheap
menthol linament gel and most likely will use up more.

I don't know why I would want to get on pub med as I am doing
better. The ame of the drug I used some 10 or more years ago was
Nystatin.

As for the variety of my illness I have no idea and since
I cannot write myself prescriptions i don't see that it makes
the least bit of difference. I had had a physically stressful
year in 1983 and a couple of different strains of influenza
by the time I got sick in 1984. I already had herpes and it
was under control all that year of 1983. After my illness it
began to attack me every time I was under stress which
considering how ill I was by Summer of 1984 was nearly every
month. My exercise capacity had dropped to almost nothing
from jogging around Nob Hill and Lafayette Park, before I walked
a couple of miles a day on my divers errands.

By the way the tests that have to be done to determine causes
of cfids/me are not on the public health insurance schedules in
the USA. They think any thyroid test but a yearly TSH is
un-needed.

No doctors had any answers for me besides my aged gyncologist
who suggested thyroid problems - an endocrinologist said
borderline condidtion not worthy of her august attention.

With the support of my psychiatrist who knew me from when
I was well and always supported my claims of reactive fatigue
I found a new doctor and the allergist-immunologis who was
very knowlegable but fiscally unsophisticated. I have been
thru a few doctors in the last 30 years, some retired and some
died of HIV-AIDS.

Mangosteen juice is big in the Whole Foods store but at that
price beyond my means.
