To Wendi,

20 years ago I went off sugar. I can still remember what it felt like to do
this. I would want to eat something desparately and so eat a piece of fruit.
This would not work. I would still feel desaprate to eat something and eat
something else which also wouldn't work.

You are experiencing a craving for sugar which your body has become
accustomed to. This craving WILL fade if you stick with it. You are going
through withdrawal. Just like anyone who goes withdrawal from anything
substance, it is going to be VERY HARD, but it is not going to be
impossible.

I can promise you that if you can make one month, you will get through it. I
made it and you can too.

I, too ate more fat at first, but I lost 28 pounds in faiarly short order
eating anything I desired as long as it did not have any sugar! I also
swore off articifically sweetened anything at the same time. That left me
with nothing to drink but milk, water, tea, and some juice. I do not even
blink at things with sugar in them and when I go to a party and everyone is
eating it, I could care less.

KEEP GOING and I am telling you, it will get better and better.

MIchigan Jan
