I am 38 and got CFIDS at 17 after a bout with Mono. I already had symptoms
of Interstitial Cystitis for a year when I got it, though, so it seems there
was already something going wrong. I was also beset by several bouts of
pleurisy when I was 16, and now have chronic pleurisy.
