Simplest to subscribe from the new address then unsubscribe
from the old address. But you can do it in reverse order too.
It may sound complicated but it works and takes only about
three messages to the robot ListServ.
Be sure to do the query command once you are subscribed at
the new address to make sure you have settings that accord
with your personal wishes.

Here is the help file if you need it.
***** End of Short Help File ******
Be sure to read it from this End to the other End! -\*
It is best to write this simple information down or print it
out before you leave this message. The list address where you
post stuff is at the end of the list of commands. etc.
Now to send commands you always write to:
LISTSERV@MAELSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU
There are lots of commands and you send just the command in the
body of your letter.
SUBscribe: you just send the line below with your own name in the
space where it says " your name".
SUB CFS-L your name
If you decide to get off the list later you can send:
UNSUB CFS-L
And there are the SET command to set certain options and which
can be quite useful in the normal course of events.
DIGest -- Has all messages sent as one large message, once per
digest cycle so that you won't get every message individually.
For CFS-L the cycle is once per day, or when post volume reaches
1000 lines, whichever comes first.
e.g.
SET CFS-L DIGEST.
NODIGest -- Switches you from DIGest to individual messages.
e.g.
SET CFS-L NODIGEST
If you decide to go away for a while, whatever reason you can
turn the mail off by sending:
SET CFS-L NOMAIL
and you can turn it back on by sending
SET CFS-L MAIL
You can use set to subscribe to various options
for example to chose the topics to which you wish
to subscribe.
SET CFS-L TOPICS +OTHER +CHAT
(adds OTHER and CHAT)
SET CFS-L TOPICS -HUMOR -CHAT
(removes HUMOR and CHAT)
SET CFS-L TOPICS MED RES
(removes all except MED and RES)
You can see the help file online at:
http://www.mcs.net/~dalton/net-help.htm
Once you have subscribed OR If you have tried
to change your setting you can ask the robot
how your settings are set by sending:
QUERY CFS-L
Now when you want to post to the list you send your e-mail to:
CFS-L@MAELSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU
Use the appropriate topic and remember ALL: is reserved for
the administrators and moderators to be sure of reaching All
the members subscribed to the list.
If the advice in this guide is not sufficient, you may wish
to contact the list-owners directly for help. They can be reached
at standard email address which takes the form of
(listname)-REQUEST@(nodename). For example, the list-owners'
address for the CFS-L list would be
CFS-L-REQUEST@MAELSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU.
They have now simplified unsubbing. You don't even need to
send a command. You just send an e-mail to this address
CFS-L-SIGNOFF-REQUEST@MAELSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU
(the message text and the Subject: line do not matter)
***** End of Short Help File ******
