I've been using a Radio Shack brand cordless phone with headset. It's
the over-the-head kind with a nice big foam cushion at the ear and about
an 8" mike extension. Works great for me (I often have problems with
the really tiny ear buds and the flimsy headsets sold separately). It's
got a good volume control. And yes, it will fit in most pockets
(without the charger stand ;@).

When I first bought one about ten years ago, it was $99. When it died
the end of last year and I bought a new one, it was $30 - with a $10
rebate on top of that! Doncha love how technology keeps coming down in
price?
