Dear lists,

My history is not CFS, but chronic fatigue + insomnia. I have recently
been working with a parasite/infection specialist called Frank Strick
who runs a treatment facility in California (and also does phone
consultations; I am in Australia). After taking a thorough medical
history he recommended 6 saliva samples and 6 stool samples be tested
for evidence of parasites, bacteria, yeast and indirect markers for
infections. I just got the results back. I have two main findings;
chronic Cryptosporidium as well as Clostridium Difficile. Also both
intestinal Secretory IgA and Total Salivary IgA were significantly
depressed and several bacterial overgrowth pathogens including
klebsiella were found in the stool in small numbers. Franks details are at:

He tells me a large proportion of his clinics clients are those
diagnosed with CFS. I strongly urge all of those with CFS to get
thoroughly checked out for these types of infections. Frank has been
specializing in this area for 20+ years and I couldn't recommend him
more. Standard testing missed the vast majority of parasitic infections
and there is no treatment that kills all parasites. I have no financial
investment in this, I just don't want people to suffer un-necessarily. I
will let you know the result of treatment.

Best regards, Blake Graham, B.Sc (Nutrition)
