For seeking doctors generally who are knowledgeable about CFS/
Fibromyalgia, the place to go online is http://www.co-cure.org/Good-Doc.htm.
For Texas specifically, see http://www.co-cure.org/USA_TX.htm .
Apparently, they do list one doc in Conroe.

| Thanks, but I tried the co-cure site before I posted. All I saw for
Conroe was a Chrio doc. I'm more interested in finding a really good
Internist or perhaps even a CFS savvy MD.... I have seen Dr. Salavato
(and she is very good - I highly recommend her to Houstonians) when I
lived in Houston. However, I'm about an hour north now & want to find
someone closer.

You might try going to www.acam.org. Click on the tab marked Public and
choose Find A Doctor. The acam docs are often more helpful to us chronic
types than the usual GP's. Anyway, it might be a place to start. If the
closest physician to you isn't close, you might see if he or she can refer
you to someone they know.
