I hope you heal well Bobbie and aren't
hurting too much. I understand the slow
writing since i have to wear wrists and
arm braces due to much pain when i
type. I hope you have some help at
home.
Take care,
Cheryl

Three or so of my girl pals are helping me
with a few things cannot raise my hands though
to comb hair or put a clip on it.
Surgery to remove a large fragment of the
right radial head next Thursday.
Left elbow was momentarily dislocated and has
a small chip from the incident but bruised worse
than the broken side and is just about as painful.
Have so much pain medication I am afraid to
use it at the doctor's suggested every three hours rate.
Pain is very disabling you know.

| Hope you start feeling better soon. As a veteran to pain, I would
suggest taking the pain meds every three hours as suggested by your
doctor, because if you wait until you feel really bad, you have waited
too long.

Thanks for your input but the q 3 hours isn't often enough
to suppress pain. I am in other words in severe pain after
3 hours.
After using arms and before the pain med starts to work
it is as though my bones had turned to ice very cold and
intense. after 3 hour hours from the medication they ache
as though freshly damaged but feel warm at the bones.
I doubt if taking the medication more often would
help either sort of pain and the hydrocodone(generic vicodin)
is seems to affect my balance and propreception(sic) negatively.
If I could lay down and forget about the other stuff I have
to do then maybe being topped off with narcotics might work.
My biggest problem is limited range of motion so that
I reallycannot brush my hair and hold it off my face with
a clip.

| I am so sorry for your severe pain Bobbie. Yes it is very disableling. It
disrupts our minds ability to focus on positive things also and that raw nagging
stress on the nerve cells are hard for the whole body. I want you to know i
am with you and hope there would be some way you could get BETTER relief thru
different medications or doses or combinations.
years ago Doctors were mostly heard of heart towards our pain however I think
there has been some movement in the more humane process of pain treatment.
Pain is our enemy. I am with you in this FIGHT!!!
