Author One year sobriety on August 28, 2006...

I just wanted to post a message and tell everyone in this group that
next month will be one year since I quit drinking. So many times I had
said to myself "Hey, one drink won't hurt" or "I am jonesing for just
one drink" or "Man, it's right there! I can just grab one beer! What
will it hurt!" But I didn't grab that ONE drink! I don't want to drink
anymore! I feel good, I feel clean, and my mind is clear!

Anyway, thanks to everyone for their support and may sobriety be with me
for years to come!

Yah, Joe Jared, that 'thing' about one day at a time is how
your denial works.
