I just started doing AA a few weeks ago. I have only had 6 relapses
so far, and have not had a drink since Saturday night. I need a drink
real bad. I am sweating like a goddamn pig thinking about having a
drink. I know that I cant drink beer wine or liquor, but can I still
drink aftershave? That contains alcohol but is not booze. I used to
drink that in jail and it works pretty good.

Unfortunately, no drinking means no drinking.

Any alternatives are a no-go.

Take care of yourself.

If you're drinking aftershave that should clue you in that you're an
alcoholic.

Sure. Go for it ( if you haven't alerady) I liked the spearmint
flavored during those moments.
It always smelled better when I threw it up later.

Actually, it would clue him in on step 2, maybe. What sane person would
drink aftershave?
