because your an alcoholic who wanted to drink......................that is
what alcoholics do!
learning NOT to reach for the bottle/drug automatically, took some practice
and new habits established on my part.
i had a sponsor in those early days, who had me call her daily.
she told me that it was to practice MAKING the phone call, in case i ever
needed to!

It's true, sponsors can talk you through that urge to get a
drink.
Also, when the urge comes, get a chocolate milkshake.
Still have the urge to drink? Get another chocolate shake.

THats right.
I had sponsors at the beginning. One guy gave me the shirt off his back,
honestly.
Then he stole everything he could get his hands on.
I even knew Texas Governor Ann Richards.
I was mocked and ridiculed for saying the secret service kidnapped me in
the keys.
I'm 24 years sober now one day at a time and I am still trying to get
this goddamned microchip out of my back that George Bush stuck there
when he drugged me.
What we need is a civil war to legally kill all the republicans and alot
of democrats.
They will not allow me to have a doctor or a lawyer and my family
started the US in 1776.
So sobriety is a never ending goal where more and more is revealed to
you as time goes by.
