If the skin is cold, but the person sweats, is this an indication of
withdrawal?

That feeling of terror just before you throw up, sweating like a dog with
shivers, may not be a true defination but thats my only way of explaining
it.

Speaking only for myself, I experience cold sweats often during drinking
when I'd drink up until going to bed. I was suprised that I continued to
have cold sweats during my first 10-13 days of sobriety. But now (Day 49) I
only seem to swear when I'm too warm - yeah!

I work outside a lot, and down here in Arkansas, the heat and humidity get
pretty brutal during the summer. I noticed within two weeks of quitting
drinking that I don't sweat anywhere NEAR as much as I used to. I guess I
was sweating all that bourbon, tequila, etc. out the next day.

Your body is so use to having alcohol in it
that detox can be dangerous for some.
Don't hasitate call 911 . Your county, local
city is equipped to handle this. It you can't afford
it, it doesn't matter. They waive the cost.
