I am a grateful recovering alcoholic that
chooses not to drink today, or any day.
I spent my day with my 2 yr. old grand- daughter, a 16 year old
girl (not wanting
to go back to school), and my 17 yr. old
son who cooked our dinner this evening.

I am thankful that God, who I give all credit for my being, that I
have seen 50
years of this life. It gets better, the
longer I stay sober and clean. I almost
did not make it but I'm glad I did and I
look forward to more days and hopefully
more birthdays.

Thanks for this opportunity to write and
share.

A sister who cares.

Happy 5-0 to you! The life you describe you're living sounds quite fine
indeed. (what was for dinner?)
