Author Online archive of personal stories, reflections, etc

There is a new site online at www.recoveryhub.org, the main feature of which is

the RecoveryHub Repository. The RH Repository is (at the moment) a skeleton
framwork for collecting personal stories and reflections (on the 12 steps and
spiritual topics at the moment--more sections will be added) from people
recovering from alcoholism and/or drug addiction. The interface has been made
as
simple as possible, and there is a tutorial on the site about how to contribute

content. Users can edit their own pages, so their stories as posted on RH can
change with them. Users may also comment on contributed stories, sharing like
they would after the speaker at a meeting.

The requirements that a posted story or reflection must met are minimal; a
degree
of relevance and 12th tradition compliance are really all that is required.

More features are in the works, but the RH Repository is the most important (at

least to me) and that is functioning 100%. Personal stories, as read in the Big

Book; the NA basic text; and Experience, Strength and Hope; and also as heard
in meetings have been so important to me in my recovery.

I'm trying hard to start building a user base for the site, to get a few people
to
contribute their stories and tell others. My own story is in the works.

Any support that you could give me in getting this project off the ground would
be
appreciated immensely; if you could actually post your story or a reflection
that
would be good for everyone, especially you!

Remember that we have to give what we have in order to keep it!

You may contact me by using the form at recoveryhub.org or emailing me directly
at admin++at+recoveryhub++dot++org

Thank you!

Ignorance continues its storied tradition of excluding dissent.
