| A woman found a pornographic book on the shelf of the public library.
And being upset, wanting to protest, she borrowed the vile book with
her library card and took it to her priest for advice on how to go
about this protest.
The priest looked at the book, was shocked at the content and said,
"Let us pray".
So they prayed together. The priest shook his fists raising them
upward and yelled, "Why, O Lord, why such sacrilege?!"
Jesus heard his prayers and descended from heaven asking, "What is the
problem, my son?"
The priest showed Jesus the pornographic images in the book and said,
"See, My Lord: Sodomy, Bestiality, Naked Nuns and all manner of
debauchery and heresy. And worst of all", as he looked down shaking
his head in grief, "your most holy crucifix...oh no..the
disrespect..."
Jesus looked at the black and white photograph, an ordinary drinking
glass with a small metal crucifix inside propped up and resting
against the inner wall of the glass. In the photo a man was urinating
into the glass and on to the crucifix filling the glass to the brim as
an act of utter contempt for the christian religion. The priest
exclaimed with anguish, "Oh Lord isn't this terrible?"
"Yes", Jesus calmly answered, "I prefer wine!"
