Sharing recovery.
When I first started, not only did I hear it but I wanted it. I wanted
to know what life was like without fear and hiding from that fear. I
wanted to have desires and goals and not be afraid to voice those to a
power of my understanding. All I can say is my vehement goal of
recovery is a daily process. It will never be over, however, we are
given the tools through the steps to recognize those obstacles that
would "trip" us up to have us fail. Failure is not an option. Forward
motion always...I can't change the past but I can learn from my
mistakes and build a spiritual base from which I can grow and overcome
those things in my past where I made mistakes and had to forgive
myself. Without this program, I would not have been able to do any of
these things.
