I looked for the part about having Bechtel and Haliburton repay the
billions they've bilked - didn't see it in there.
I looked for the part about an accelerated withdrawal from Iraq...
nada...
But hey, let's make my disabled (lifer in the Navy) dad pay so much
for home health care that he gets to go back to the nursing home!
That'll help...
I didn't see any cancellation of major defense projects or weapons
systems, but I did see zillions in cuts from the civie sector. Cuts in
health, education, Medicare, Medicaid, infrastructure.... Will they
roll back those tax breaks for their zillionaire cronies? Nopers.
Same as it ever was.....

Just so long as they don't impose any heavy taxation on ammunition just
yet, there may still be some room to respond.

There's a couple things in there if they get through that will
actually mean if I make it another half year I will be able to get my
Mickey D regular cheese burger, but will have to make a
decision...Fries or Coke....Not Fries & Coke. I'll have to roll my own
if I don't carry through with just quitting altogether and it would be
better to die than to get ill.

Ain't it the truth.
Not so long ago, Developmentally Disabled people in the institutions
got something called 'passive medicine' - the theory being that it was
better to die than be retarded, so if a person was suffering from some
serious malady, they would get (limited) comfort care, but little
else.
I s'pose that the new theory would be that, since we're apparantly a
nation of retards, better we should die than be a burden on the
gubmint.
How great to live in a country that develops life-extending
technology so wonderful that nobody can afford it!

I understand that Somebody Int'l, Inc. is currently accepting
applications. Otherwise, McSomebody (tm) franchises are always
available.
