Picasso's Guernica

On April 27th, 1937, unprecedented atrocities are perpetrated on
behalf of Franco against the civilian population of a little Basque
village in northern Spain. Chosen for bombing practice by Hitler's
burgeoning war machine, the hamlet is pounded with high-explosive and
incendiary bombs for over three hours. Townspeople are cut down as they
run from the crumbling buildings. Guernica burns for three days. Sixteen
hundred civilians are killed or wounded.

A shining example of corrupt LIEbrawl DEMON-art. My six-year old
daughter can draw people and horses better than that Spanish commie
cocksucker.
Thank you, Gramps.

Guernica just doesn't make it as an excuse to drink.

Was thinking of the event. The art? Well, either you like it or you
don't.

A Calif native, I was unaware of this annual event until Gary gave me
his tickets for this year. We are dialed in for an encore next summer.
And........ *nothing* makes it as an excuse to drink. That's the main
point of my sobriety.
