OMFG ...

I can't f'ing believe this ...

i have a job.

correction: i have my DREAM job.

digitally retouching portraits. at a portrait studio.

OMFG. i got it. i reached up as that pony leaped into the air and i caught
the brass ring. and i yanked that sucker until it ripped off the bleepin'
canvas.

thank you, Kait and daughter. Thank you, Saab, and rest in peace. thank
you to any member of this community whose photographic likenesses i've
tweaked, slenderized, plumped, de-lined, de-zitted, filled in hairlines for,
tweezed stray hairs off of, and otherwise made magazine-cover perfect.

it's seasonal work. i'm gonna be working my XXX off for the next six months
or so. but i'm doing it. i'm doing it! i'm doing the work i've always
dreamed of doing. the work i've wanted to do almost all my life.

"Dreams do come true, but only when
They make it through despair,
Limping into everyday
Transformed beyond repair. ..."

i f'ing did it.

Congrats, azure.

Now we know where all the flowers have gone. They're all getting
jobs.
