| You said:
"Trying to translate the troops getting what they deserve into telling
their parents you're glad they died is not a very clever rhetorical
tactic."
Trying to reduce an immensely complex social and political situation
into people ". . .getting what they deserve." is naive and simplistic.
You haven't responded to that. You've just insulted me for repeating
it.
Now, about those grieving parents? Then, you're not glad? You sound
positively gleefull. Which is deeply repulsive to me. Ahh, but there
it's just your opinion. And a loud, angry one it is. The other stuff
about turning what you imagine to be flaws in my presentation, against
the facts of the presentation is invalid.
Loud, but invalid. Nice try though. Actually, it's a horrid try, but
you're not likely to stop just because of that.
Again, it's the disrespect that's objectionable. The argument is
tolerable. Not because it contains truth, just because it's another
opinion. I feel obliged to respect the constitutions' demand I
tolerate speech that I disagree with or loathe.
In fact, I'm beginning to see the folly in responding.
Live and learn they say.
