| I just thought about a note one of my daughters sent to me this winter. I'll
try to find it and post it for you. It shows that sometimes the children
that hated you most at times do love you and appreciate you at another stage
in your life. :-)
I hope I still have it around here someplace. I just can't imagine that I
got rid of it!!! <G>

I have boxes of stuff in the closet - old leaves, little rocks, every
conceivable thing you can think of that they handed to me over the
years. One of these days I'll have to go through the boxes.
They were disgusted to find I kept their umbilical cords. More so
when we noticed that what was left was umbilical dust at the bottom of
their baby boxes. Oh well.

i have two long tails of hair, about two feet long each, in two
separate boxes stored away in my room.
one is lion-mane orange. shorn off my son as a teen.
the other is dark auburn. that is mine, shorn off as a teen.
together they'd make an interesting wig ...

I bet they do! I remember how costly hair pieces were a while back. I
always wished I had long thick hair but alas, at best, it's long, thin and

When Jen had her very long hair cut some time ago, she had them do it
so she could send it off to have a wig made for those kids in chemo.
I couldn't bring myself to let it go, though.
