| Hi there windy, I'm glad you like my new name : ) you can identify
with name change too I bet
I'm glad to hear that Buford is still with us. Give him a few
scratches and a pig ear from me. No, it's not MY ear. hmmprhf!
Things are good. I'm a relay operator for the Deaf/Hard of
hearing/speech disabled. It isn't a lot of pay, but it's the best job
I've ever had. It has good benefits. I'm still making under 20 k a
year, but I'm doing better than those who have much less. I am very
blessed these days. I know there are people who have much less than I,
and I am grateful for what I have. I am trying to find a house
though. I've been preapproved for a home loan, have the letter in my
hot little hands. It's only for 70 k , but there is so much building
going on out here, and many young couples with children, having more
children. Something small in my price range is bound to pop up.
Remember, I live in a town of 2000 people including those on farms in
the area, in North Dakota. 70k isn't much but it is enough to get a
decent 2 bedroom. I don't think I'll see much pop up with the
holidays coming up though. I can wait.
I'm also taking online courses through a local tech school for medical
transcription. I don't know if it will lead to much, but my
supervisor at work says she knows a few people who have gone a similar
route and are working part time as med transcriptionists. I figured
it could be a supplement to my income. I could do it part time, and
work at relay 32 hours a week so I can keep my benefits.
good to hear from you windy,
-blu
