No, you misinterpret what I am saying. Adults who bully children use
words like "rules", "consequences", and "boundaries" to describe their
bullying. As opposed to saying, "I am bullying the child."
When adults self-report their bad behavior towards kids, it is very heavy
on euphemism.
Another word adults misuse is "choice." It's not a choice unless there
are two or more alternatives that are acceptable to the person making it.
"Stop demonstrating or go to jail" is not an example of a choice. Neither
is "your money or your life."
"Would you like waffles or pancakes?" is an example of a choice.
