thanks.

last night, for the first time in his not-quite-three-year-old life, sir
lala woke up in the middle of the night and demanded to be taken to the
bathroom to urinate. was an excellent reason to lose sleep. was especially
good that daddy is the one who dragged his carcass to take care of the
toileting.

step-daughter is home from college an amazingly transformed confident young
woman. we're getting an upgraded piano tomorrow morning because, confronted
with the junk piano she was using before she left, she offered to pay half
the cost from her savings. so we're getting a reconditioned 48" yamaha
upright with bench for us$4000, including transport here plus cartage of the
old junker.

the acquired adolescent insisted on volunteering to clean the house before
step-daughter came home then promptly disappeared to her room upon said
arrival. she actually sat down to dinner with the rest of us the other day.

is good.
