I wish for each and every one of you a joyous time, life, eternity....
I hope santa is good to you and yours, I hope your bellies are full,
your feet are warm, and your hands are reaching for those you love
most.
Here's to another year, older, wiser, and probably a bit fatter.......
Right now...I'm cooking a pot roast for dinner, friends coming for
snacks later, and ....tomorrow our ethnicity of choice this year is
Thai --- we'll have pad thai, spring rolls, etc....never cooked thai
before, ought to be interesting
Liz, the trick to wrapping and NOT hunching over --- sit at the dining
room table, on a chair.....and only get up when you have to......(ta
da...see, I can be helpful)
my dog is fed, is happily snoring, having not a clue what all the
scurrying is about....and not caring as long as he gets his bone, and
the opportunity to jump all 100 of his pounds into the recliner with
me --- he still doesn't get that he's not a lap dog, but at night,
when it's quiet, and I'm winding down, and he jumps into the
chair....I forget he isn't a lap dog as well.
oh...and he snores .....boneshattering, ear splitting snores, and gawd
I love this dawg more than I have ever loved another four legged
creature --- this one has a tremendous soul...like a wise old
granddad....it's really weird.
