Hi.

I'm wondering about something, after seeing the latest 3D HIV image
compilations. If the size of the virus is determined by its outer
membrane, what signals are used to keep it from getting too big for its
outer shell?

Are there mechanisms which regulate growth to a certain degree, telling
the virus when to stop enlarging at a given point?
