| If you normally can't stand diet pop, this new Diet Coke with Splenda is a
winner.
My fav diet drinks now are:
Hawaiin Punch Lite (Splenda)
Diet Coke with Splenda
Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper (Equal)

I'd like to try the diet Coke with Splenda but where I am (so. Calif) there
doesn't seem to be any in the stores. Any idea when it will be generally
available?

| I'm in LA...
There are billboards everywhere touting it.
Most likely it's rolling into the stores as we speak.

If it's anywhere near Houston, I haven't seen it yet - and we've ranged from
Rosenberg to Katy to Kingwood in the past 48 hours...(that covers a lot of the
metro area, for those who aren't familiar with Baghdad on the Bayou)

Diet Mountain Dew is my beverage of choice these days. It's excellent.
Much better than it used to be. Getting used to non-sugared soda helps
too, probably. I also like the caffiene-free version. Diet SunKist
Orange is good, too.

no, the way it is worded anyone new to the group or usenet could be
easily mistaken and offended.

To paraphrase Yoda, spam does not make one great. However, a surprising
number of people prefer infamy to obscurity, and would rather be hated
than unknown. Some of those people take up spamming as a way to gain the
notoriety that their warped psyches crave.

Some people have tender feelings and no sense of humor.

I hear ya BJ.
No one (in this or any other newsgroups) has ever spared my feeling when
they felt like taking a pot shot at me. Unfortunately, a lot of people
in groups spend most of their time looking for the chance to stick-it to
someone. If you look at any thread for any given day, you’ll see my point.
I guess what I’m trying to say is; every time I’ve tried to be
*respectful* of other peoples feelings, someone else will jam-it to me.
So I quit worrying about “their feelings”. People tend to be *rude*
when they can hide behind their keyboards. It’s a product of the
Internet. When people use to talk face to face, we were considerate of
their feelings (or we'd get our butts kicked :-) ).
