I walked up to his body. His breathing was very shallow. He was on his
way out. I had already shot him three times. He looked up at me as I
raised my rifle one last time.

One last shot into his head. His body spasmed for another ten seconds
and it was over. He would breathe no more.

That was the last time I walked into the woods.
