I believe Selena was a real woman, not a transvestite.

Striving to be intelligent and to write and speak well is not bad, but
hating or punishing for stupidity and poor communication alone is.

There are better ways of nurture, and hate or touching is not one of
them. Soothing words of encouragement can do the job better, if they are
sincere and given where they apply.
