hi everyone anita here
i havent felt like posting here of late. i been a little down in the dumps
and i just havent had anything interesting to write about. i still dont have
anything interesting to write about, sorry.
i sprained my ankle so i havent been able to do my walking for the last
week. yesterday was the first time i did any in a week, i walked a half-mile
is all, then my ankle started hurting again. i have only lost 3 pounds since
you heard from me last. i have 27 pounds to go to feel better about myself
again. that is a long way to go. but i am still hopeful that i can lose it.
weighing this much isnt healthy for me, so i need to lose some.
besides that nothing much to report, i am a little paranoid as always and
christmas went ok, same old same old.
i have been reading everyday what you guys write , i just didnt feel up to
jumping in and saying anything. some of the talk has been about computers
and such and i know nothing about them. beyond that i just havent really had
the energy to say anything. though i still like listening.
i hope everyone is as well as can be expected. most of your lives are
more exciting than mine.

Hello Pines,

Keep exercising if you can. It really helps. I"ve started to jog on a
tread mill. Excellent.

Anita,

I prefer walking over running or jogging, and you don't need a treadmill
to do that. You can take in more of the scenery, think a bit more, and
often go longer distances when you walk than when you pick up the pace.
You can also wear normal clothes. I look kind of strange in some
athletic outfits.

I think speed walking looks kind of funny.

Just Me,

I don't exercise anymore. I think it's a waste of time.

I might get a punching bag later on, but it's not that important to me.

hi daniel,
i walk instead of running as well, but i cant walk up the road here. first
off i would probably get run over and secondly their are wolfs and coyotes
up in the woods around here and they might decide i would make a good meal.
though i would perfer to walk out in the open rather than on a treadmill it
would be more relaxing.
how are you doing tonight daniel? how do you feel?

a few years ago, i would have thought you were bullshitting concerning
wolves and coyotes. now that i live in Oklahoma, i do realize they are all
over the place. they are not common in Middle Tennessee. i don't know how
much of a threat they are to humans.

i've also seen some smaller animals, maybe foxes, but they could have been
small wolves or coyotes.

they pronounce coyotes with two syllables here. i've always pronounced it
with three. i wonder how the Indianians talk?

walking is better on the knees as well. i ran for quite a while, from 1992
to 1997. i've always wanted to break a 5 minute mile, but i smoke now.

speed walking is goofy. my uncle did that for a while and won several
trophies, since the competition is reduced compared to running. due to
jogging, he had several knee surgeries.

my uncle encouraged me to speed walk competitively since i'd win for my age
bracket (for sure). but i kept on running instead, and only occasionally
one a trophy.

hi michael,
afraid i aint joking about the wolves and coyotes and we pronounce it with
three syllables like you do. the wolves and coyotes even come up in our yard
some times during the year. i had one follow me to the house from the
building one night, it was growling at me. a wolf that is. it scared the
living be jesus out of me. i dont walk to the house at night anymore, it is
to dangerous.
