I'd like to learn some Latin phrases. My Spanish is pretty good, but not
as good as my English is.

I probably know more Spanish slang than most of the locals do. In a
tight situation, it can come in handy. You can cut a person down with
some slang insults and profanities.

Most white people don't know much Spanish, and in a conflict situation,
that could be a weakness. I think their vanity is going to catch up with
them, sooner or later.

They like to keep us Hispanics nice and dumb, but I think they need to
learn to just mind their own way.

i did use several Latin phrases as subject lines. but the "computadore" was
supposed to be "computadora" for computer in Spanish. and i meant
"traditore," but i spelled it wrong. that is Italian for traitor.

the Italian expression "tradutorre traditore" means the translator is a
traitor. of course, the wordplay is lost in other languages.

Italian and Spanish are Romantic languages, as are Romanian, Portuguese, and
French. are there any other Romantic languages?

i've only taken 3 years of Spanish and 1 of German. i have a German book,
but no Spanish guides, although i did subscribe to a Miami newspaper written
in Spanish.

i heard a lot of Spanish slang at work years ago.
