were i closer to my ideals, i would not celebrate X-mas and Easter. but i'd
lose two good holidays.

i kind of bond with Thanksgiving now.

Gravity,

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving very much any more. It's mostly an
American holiday.

do you not consider yourself an American? aren't you second generation
American or third or fourth?

the U.S. has given me some good opportunities.

Gravity,

I am a second generation American. I have a legal birth certificate.

I don't like America very much, but my mother sometimes pokes me around
because of that. She intrudes upon my private thoughts as well as my
private life.

She has suggested I talk to a priest, a few times in the past, but I
found that somewhat intimidating. Most of the local priests seem like
idiots.

I have a feeling that all of the Catholic churches here in the East
Coast are anathema, but I don't have any proof of it. The Pope might
feel the same way and he might be right.
